So, this is sort of inspired by the "best penmanship of 08' rookies" thread but more so by a recent autograph I saw by an unlikely player who's autograph I absolutely love. That being said, my current favorite autograph is Mr. Gaylord Perry (upper right)

Sorry I stole your image kbob119, but Perry's auto on it is absolute gorgeous. Who do you think has the best auto in baseball?

Derek Jeter has a terrible autograph!! I guess it depends on whether you want something legible or not. I personally believe that you should be able to read an autograph no matter what it is on and at least be able to figure out who it is. If you gave a non-baseball fan a cut signature of Jeter he would not be able to tell you who it is.

My vote goes for Dale Murphy or Ozzie Smith but I do like Perry up there too.

This is a very common thread. But ill play along anyway

Harmon Killabrew.

This has come up before, and "Killer" is usually the overwhelming choice.

That doesn't sway my vote though :D

To me, it's one of these 3.

I can't recall seeing one before, but it turns out Oil Can Boyd's is pretty stylish, if not the best:

I trust our resident Oil Can collector knows about this one.

I still like Nomar's. Though it seems he's started dropping some letters on recent cards.
