Her favorite time of year. I don't have the patience or get the thrill of the hunt to go from sale to sale, but she does, and I occaisionally reap the benefits. Yesterday, she picked up an unused Little League model of an Ozzie Smith bat. (29") Nothing like finding a gamer or anything, but it's a nice item for the Ozzie collection. Oh, and it cost her $3. (and the lady had three of them.)

I have been hitting antique shopd lately and have found some really neat stuff. I am always finding cheap 90's boxes to break hoping for one of the rare inserts. Also have been finding some neat baseball related items like Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig beer steins for cheap.

I LOVE GARAGE SALES!!!

I know exactly what I am looking for, so I can jump from sale to sale...

Unfortunately, my wife isn't the same way. :^)

Greg, it's killing me. I know that I know who the band in your sig is, but the information is apparently locked in an unused portion of my brain (which is most of my brain actually).

Please alleviate my torture!

Oh, and I've met your wife. She is indeed awesome!

I asked about getting the others. I'm sure the other Ozzie collectors here would strongly consider adding one to their collection, but she only thinks of me when shopping, not everybody else on the boards. I know. I'll work on it. :D
