I just noticed something in beckett.

What is the difference between these two sets?

I'm not 100% sure since it's been a few years, but wasn't an uncut sheet available to attendees who purchased the VIP pass?

I know they received full sets instead of the 3-packs, but I didn't hear anything about an uncut sheet

At one point - as asterisk in Beckett designated a multi-sport set. I'm not sure if that carried over into the new database or not.

I think '2002 Upper Deck National Convention' is the complete set, and the sets with asterisks are partial sets for each sport that would be under that sport's database.

A search for 2002 Upper Deck National Convention brings up 6 different sets, one without an asterisk, and 5 with (baseball, football, golf, basketball and hockey).

It looks like it is just a way of sorting in their database.

Guess not. See thehamiltonian's response above.

I should've checked first - no Thomas on the list. ;)
