I know it's WAY early but Raul Ibanez would probably be my NL MVP right now. Nothing against "The Machine" or Trevor Hoffman, but he has been unreal.

He is the only Phillie who has played consistently well all year. He has carried a usually strong offense, and when the "Big Boys" start hitting and now that the pitching seems to have settled down, LOOK OUT!

I know half his stats are against the Nats, but still impressive. He gets my vote!

Though Ibanez has been VERY hot this weekend (and went on a streak earlier in the year), I am still glad I traded him for Jay Bruce in a DYNASTY league about three weeks ago.

Bruce hasn't hit as many homers in that time frame, but does have more SB's.

Not to mention potential.

But, I do agree he is building a SOLID MVP foundation.

One of the MOST underrated bats in the game for sure.
