Why does the SPx #d/99 sell for so much more than his other autos?

Except for the SPx any auto can be picked up for less than $11.

But the SPx:

Is it mainly set collectors since there is only 99 of them?

I don't know why any of his stuff goes for anything. He gives up a run everytime he takes the mound.

Well, Travis Snider for example......I sold 3 of his SPX for 110,120,125 last month. A 2008 Auto when he had autos in 2007.

It says "Rookie card" when he had cards in 2006.....only thing I can say is the design steals the show, it is my favorite this year even though it isn't on card. Those cards chip like there is no tomorrow......I had 4 Sniders and wanted to grade 1 for myself......what a HORRIBLE quality of cardboard, it is SO brittle....if you are buying one ask for a scan of the back.

I noticed the same thing with Chris Lambert SPx autos. I can usually buy his autos for $1 or $2 but the SPx's were going for about $20. Must be set collectors

The same can be said for Francisco Cervelli SPx.

The only two I saw have sold for $21 and $31, while his others sell at a lower price.
