Everyone talks about Baker abusing pitchers but that is absurd if he keeps up that pace.

I can already predict that 50 inning increase will catch up to him next year.

I really think that Leyland will skip his turn in the rotation a few times during the summer to keep his inning down. That said, he shouldn't have any issues adding 30-40 IP from the prior year. That would put him in the 150-160 range.

As for Baker, the trail of abused arms he has left from San Fran to Chicago is quite impressive.
