Early on in my player collection I picked up a 1998 SPX Tony Gwynn for my collection. I soon found out that the whole set was numbered. Cool, nice idea so I started looking for all the cards to complete the set. About 4 months ago I found a copy of the second rarest card in the set /100 and thought I was so close. I thought the last was numbered to 10 so I thought if I kept on looking one might show up.
Well long last it does show up and it is numbered to 1! And the price is way out of my range. I tried talking to the seller but he wouldn’t budge. Oh well it would have been a nice looking set but I will have to focus on many of my other incomplete sets.
Sorry for the bad scans it is tought to get these right on a scanner.
