I bet this one bowl of crow you are enjoying, eh Jeff?

Tasty crow. Happy to eat.

At the rate he's playing I'm sure you wouldn't mind eating it all year. Dude is on fire. Still can't believe you thought it was that bad of a deal. I thought he'd be good, but not this good.

How can he blame the blogger for questioning him? He'll have a new career single season HR high before the AS break!!

This is incredible. Absolutely incredible.

What is incredible about it?

Last two games Phils come from behind and beat the mets in extras.

Ill quote TBP

"What is incredible about it?"
Manuel taking Parnell out after allowing a soft single is the reason they lost.

I rewrote this message a few times; I'm going to go with the really immature answer instead of the baseball analytical answer.

The reason they lost is because they suck.

I got him in a trade as a throw in. I traded away Russell Martin and Joey Votto for Volquez, Broxton, Pierzynski, Austin Jackson and Raul was a last minute throw in. CBS money league with minor leaguers. Off season deal. WOW.. Just wow.

Now I am trying to trade him away while hot.

Why didn't you make a thread about Haap getting his effin buttox handed to him by the mets the other night? I thought he was GOD, as you proclaimed him as the 2nd coming after he pitched against the terrible Padres.

Bitter, bitter.

No, I never proclaimed him as a god. What I DID say was that he wasn't a 4A pitcher, much as Gilmore and Tamer have been saying for quite some time. I certainly didn't indicate he was in line for any Cy Youngs.

Cole Hamels should have a lock on that award for the next 10 years.

However, to your original point, if there was one; if Happ had his "effin buttox" handed to him, did the Phillies not do the exact same thing to Johan Santana?

IP H R ER BB K HR
J.A. Happ 5.1 6 4 4 4 4 2

IP H R ER BB K HR
J. Santana 7.0 8 5 5 1 2 4

Neither player had an exceptionally good night. Is Johan Santana, by your logic, a horrible pitcher because he had his "effin buttox" handed to HIM?
