Anyone Like Pablo Sandoval?

Was just checking his stats after a 2 for 3 w/ a double today, and since June 1st, he's put up this line...

haven't checked his cards lately, but those are some nice numbers

yep, you were right. just checked and sandoval now has 74 hits in 236 plate appearances, vs Pujols who has 72 hits in 278 plate appearances. but keep in mind Pujols gets walked like crazy.

Pujols has 35 more walks though...Pujols BB/K ratio is 2:1, Sandoval's is 1:3, Pujols has 15 more HR, 9 more EBH. Hell Michael Young has 5 more hits than Sandoval, just saying. Sandoval is a good hitter, and his cards do pretty well, but he's no where near elite YET.

He hit .400 in the Venezuelan Winter league... not the majors, but no cheeseballs either... He will continue to hit anywhere.
