With the recent sale of the Red Griffey Crusade it got me thinking to what is the premier card of the 90's. It doesn't have to be the most expensive but which card:

1994 UD Mantle/Griffey Auto?
1990 T Thomas NNOF?
1997 SP Buyback A-Rod?
1997 UD Griffey GU Jersey?
Particular Finest Refractor?
Particular Select Certified Mirror Gold?
Particular UD auto from heroes series?
1998 Griffey Red Crusade?

It may not be any of these but these just came to mind. It also determines how you interpret "premier". Thoughts please.

To me, the 94 Mantle/Griffey is the ultimate card that I to this day love to see scans of. I believe one member has it in his sig.... simply amazing.

Casey

Edit: by the way, fantastic Ripken minor league cards in your sig! Very nice stuff.

The 1998 Babe Ruth 500 hr club piece of history upper deck bat/50.

1999 century legends gold Ted Williams autograph/100 or the Ted Williams 500 hr club piece of history autograph/9.

Same set has a Mantle /1 and I believe a Ruth that's /1 or /3.

I believe 1997 Flair Showcase Masterpiece Ken Griffey Jr. row 0 sold for the most out of any card in the '90s and received tons of attention back in the day.

I'd go with the arod sp rc. I really have a hard time giving the title to obscure, hard to find, low print run inserts.

Set... I'd say Crusades for sure.

Card... I'd say the Mantle/Griffey Auto is flat out awesome.

You could make an argument for various 1/1s and cuts from the late '90s but those type of cards are a dime a dozen now a-days.
