hit a 2 rbi double making this his tenth straight game an rbi and it pushes his avg up to 343 now....is there anyway someone could say this guy is not the best shortstop in the game today?

Hanley's streak hasn't been updated with today's game, but here are the longest RBI streaks since 1980:

Joe Mauer had a 9-game streak earlier this year.

Royals RBI machine Frank White had a streak of 11 games in 1983. He is the only player since 1980 with a streak of 11 or more games that never had a 100 RBI season (best season was 1986 with 84).
