Is Greg Halman back to form? They sent him down to rookie ball for 3 games, he played decently there and the sent him back up.

Here's what he's done in the last week:

AB H 2B 3B HR SO BB
5 1 0 0 1 0 0
3 1 0 0 0 0 1
6 1 0 0 1 2 0
4 1 0 0 0 2 0
5 2 2 0 0 1 0
5 2 1 0 0 1 0
2 1 0 0 1 1 1

Is it an aberration, or has he figured something out?

Seems to be the same Halman. 8 SO in 3 games.

Not sure where you got 8 strike outs in 3 games from, but yeah he's going to strike out a lot. He's a power hitter.

2 walks is a revelation actually.....I have been keeping close tabs on him and I feel he is turning the corner and is poised to be back on the BA hotlist.

How many RBIs does he have during this stretch?

I think he's referring to the 3 games in rookie ball, whereas you're referring to the games since returning. Looks like a miscommunication.

He's got 8 RBI's in that 7 game stretch, only 1 game without an RBI (in that game he was 1-3, a BB, 0 K's, a SB, and 2 R)

Suprisingly solid. I just sent in some of his Contenders autos in for grading, probably come back to me at an opportune time if he keeps it up.

Sorry, but I have too many Halman's not to offer my opinion... his record looks more like a threnody rather than a top 40 hit. He is horrible, and I suspect that he will never escape the Balboni/Sexson .225/30hr/85 RBI category.

He is not even close to where he needs to be.

At bats: 260
BB's:.......18 (not a typo)
K's:........116 (not a typo)
On Base %: .262 (not a typo)

I have a 9.5 Gold Refractor that hopes I'm totally wrong... (somewhere in the distance somebody is still snickering) :)

I think this is a step forward. 1K/game since returning is an improvement, and the .280 AVG since returning is an improvement.

still not great though, and he could ebb back to 1.5K/game and a .210 AVG, but there's hope.

I have a total of 4 cards of his......but I can tell you if he puts up 30 HRs and 80 RBIs his stuff will be VERY good to have.

Chris Davis was on pace for similar #s and he just got demoted.
