99% of you wouldn't care -
but I won an auction for my player (IKE HILLIARD)'s
1999 collector's edge master set.

I got the Galvanized, Gold Ignot & Millenium Collections cards for each of the four Collector's Edge sets that year.

I only needed 1 or 2 of them to finish my player collection;
but then I noticed weird stuff ...

Some of them were super thick, some wern't.
Some said "preview" on the back instead of being numbered.
Man this company was kooky with what they made ...

The good news is that I'm that much closer to a complete master set of my player. I have like 98% of all known cards - but I keep finding "unknown" cards ... the 1990's are weird.

98%... that's a pretty impressive number!

Well, when it's a 1000+ cards ...
The first 900 or so are easy - it's them last 20-30 cards that kick my @$$.
I made up the 98% ... but it's got to be over 95% or so.
It's mainly the 1/1's I'll never find ...

I'll never find them - but it's fun to upgrade, etc.
And one day, I'll make a webiste & organize my junk,
so I can show it all off ...

good job! i havent gotten around to entering all of my PC cards into the database yet to see how close (or far) i am to completing the master sets.

yeah those sets are certainly wacky with all of their parallels and such.

Very impressive! I made a post on here once before on one of my baseball player collections. I began with a player checklist from Beckett and added to it as I found new cards and variations (not just printing errors) that they don't list. Last I checked I think I was up to about 25 new cards.
