after only 16 (5-7-4) games the Lightning have fired Melrose who they should have never hired in the first place.

former Penguin Rick Tocchet takes over as interim head coach. not sure he will do any better.

Yeah but the Blackhawks has everyone beat by firing Dennis Savard only after 4 games.
