I know posting uncertified autos on this board usually causes some kind of contreversy almost every time, BUT this is pretty sweet:

It's a signed Topps '83 RC. I just got it back c/o the Tennessee Smokies in 86 days! He is very generous IP, but has only a 28% TTM return rate according to SCN. He was a great player, his only flaw was that he played for the Cubs.

As already mentioned, Ryno is a fantastic signer IP. When the Smokies were in West Tennessee he signed for everyone on the wall. Can't agree that playing for the Cubs is a flaw though.

Who has a problem with uncert autos? Frakk 'em if they don't like 'em. I'll be getting me me some Rhyno's soon.

I haven't gotten many I.P.'s in the past two seasons, but if you'd like to take a look at what I've got, feel free:

Nice stuff! As for the uncertified auto's issue, without naming names, the majority of the time (at least in my experience) when someone (I) posts one, members who may or may not know what they are talking about call the auto "fake", even if it was gotten IP, from a friend, etc. Name calling/embarrassment/frustration usually follow.

Eh, understandable to a point.

But yeah, I bought all of those cards, or made them, or pulled them out of buried boxes.... just so I could forge autographs. ::facepalm:: ..... and never part with 99.9% of them. ;)

Every damn one of mine is 100% Genuine, don't care what anyone else thinks. Do you? ;)

I hope you don't mind...and not to hijack, but this my favorite I.P. item. Lots of current MLBers on this.

Insane home plate!!  And yes, I know what you mean. The idea that people would think anybody forges stuff for their PC is one of the stupidest things I have ever heard, but unfortunately it seems like it is a common suspicion. ::facepalm::

Also, thanks Ian. :)
