Not so fast.
The Twins were beating the A's 12-2 yesterday and ended up losing 14-13.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves calling it a win just yet, but it's good to see the Tigers finally giving one of their pitchers some support. Verlander and Jackson both pitched outstanding games against the Yankees and got zero help from the bats.

Porcello is lookin pretty good so far, the second run came from two bloop hits and he's got a pair of Ks already.

And it is now 8-5

Yeah, wonder if that 10-1 odds bet is still on the table...

...gotta love when people spout off about something being "over" after two innings.

Porcello not so hot lately..was looking like his line for today would be respectable but then he gave up that two run shot.

He's still on for the win, but ya never know with the Tigers' middle relief :|

His stuff looked good today he just made some mistakes and left some balls up in the zone. Only up by 2 now though hopefully they can hold on.

Yeah I've watched most of his starts this season and it seems like he never pitches poorly overall...he never has big walk problems and rarely gives up lots of hard hit balls in a row...but when he gets in trouble, it's because he simply leaves a pitch or three up in the zone. Maybe last year in single A he would be able to get away with that, but in the majors, hitters are going to make you pay for leaving the ball up in the zone.

By the way, that was an absolute laser that Cabrera just hit.
