I'm not very familiar with prospects, but Alderson is fairly highly regarded, isn't he? This seems like a much better deal for the Pirates than previous rumored returns from the Giants.

It seems kind of low on the Pirates part. They should have asked a little bit more for Sanchez. Good trade for SF.

I think it's a good return for both teams, but I had been hearing Frandsen, Bowker, or Guzman for Freddy Sanchez - not Alderson!

Good for the Pirates, got a guy who came into this year as a top 50 prospect, who has raised his stock this season. He could be contributing in the bigs by next year.
