board member coltsfan bought it for what, about 1 grand? Sold it for how much? And now sold for 1500, interesting progression. I'd much rather the super, or even a red ref auto (not that any have showed up)

yep, originally sold for 999.99. I think the upper right corner was a little soft. nice profit from the original sell.

Wow! Coltsfan23 actually bought it for $900 and sold it for $1150. Wossa wouldn't pony up more than 1k.

I think investing in a hyped Yanks prospect AFTER they become hyped is a really bad idea.

Jesus Montero is not just any hyped prospect. He could easily be Minor League POY, is a yankee, and potentially a future catcher (even as a DH or outfielder, his hitting speaks for itself). While I may admit prices have increased quite a bit, the guy seems to be have everything at the moment (Catcher, Yankees, Top 5 hitter in the minors, 19 years old). Maybe not tomorrow, but at the very least today. I for one became fascinated by the the kid upon returning to prospecting.

His bowman sterling cards are a pretty good bargain right now based on what his chrome auto goes for.
