Yikes..He has looked pretty terrible his first two starts. I understand that he is extremely young, and I really hope that he puts everything together (I want the Skanks to be a 3rd place team in the future :lol: ), but his fastball has looked extremely straight and he has not been able to find the strike zone with his curveball. Hopefully he will head down to AAA and figure things out.

He doesn't look real good though, his control doesn't seem to be all that great today and although his curveball looks very sharp, but he's thrown a couple in the dirt and hung a couple as well.

That is true. Verlander sometimes starts games slowly, but 5 runs is a huge number for him to give up. Even the 3 outs that Tillman just got were all very hard hit balls.
