Someone REALLY wanted that card. The previous high bidder probably didn't have the time to set up a snipe, so he just put in an insanely high number to try to ensure he got the card. The winner saw he got denied at an already high bid and had just enough time to sneak in with an even more insaner one.

Lucky seller.

It's the set. A Russ Martin /5 just sold for 228. I put in a 225 snipe figuring I'd get it with plenty to spare and I lost. I know the winner would have gone much higher as well.

Crazy stuff.
