on November 26,1991 "Badger" Bob Johnson died of brain cancer. he only coached the Penguins for one season but it was their greatest season. Johnson helped the Pens win their first of two consecutive Stanley Cups. he also has one of the most famous hockey quotes of all time "It's a great day for hockey". he was the coach of the Wisconsin Badgers for 16 season and led them to 7 NCAA tournament appearances and 3 national titles. he was and still is the Pens best coach and is still a hero here in the city of Pittsburgh.
