I submitted 16 cards, all of which came within .5 of higher grades.

Seven of them bumped.

Nice gem Purke :) - I really hope he signs with the Rangers.

I had three metal Wieters but sold them all this weekend at 20 a pop...didn't want to chance grading.

You sent all of these encased with a note to try and bump them?

You shouldn't send free pictures of your cousin to random graders. She might not appreciate that. Nice grades. Why is Eiland so bad though?

Ok, since I've already gotten several PM's asking about how this shipment came about, here's the gyst of it.

I overnighted these cards to a certain board member in the hopes that he'd submit them to BGS at Nats, using their special Show Graded Card Review service.

We'll call him Mr. X.

Mr. X forgot to pick up the cards from his PO before leaving for Nats. Mr. X later asked his wife to overnight them to Cleveland. Mrs. X obliged. They arrived in Cleveland on Saturday.

Mr. X didn't get the chance to submit them to BGS' booth for me, as the lines were always too long when he tried.

So, to compensate, he overnighted them to BGS's HQ in Dallas instead. They arrived late last week, and a generous BGS employee whom he was in contact with (who was also at Nats; we'll call him Mr. Y) expedited my shipment so that the grades would pop today.

So, thanks to Misters X & Y and Mrs. X, I can now get ample Zzzzzzzz's tonight.
