loser cubs fan threw beer at victorino as he was in process of catching ball

great timing

what a loser

Guy was a total tool! Victorino could have been hurt. Still not as bad as the Philly fan brawl that beat someone to death outside of Citizens Bank park though.

As salamu alaykum
Too many sports fans (in general) these days act like complete **********. It's a game. Watch it, enjoy it and relax. You want to act like a complete ass? Do it in your living room. Contrary to popular belief, going to a game doesn't give someone the right to start a fight in the stands, throw beer on players or any other assinine, disruptive behavior. Lifetime bans from ballparks need to be enforced more often.

I really don't know why that got so much press. It was really just a bar fight that spilled over from McFaddens in to the parking lot. It's not like it happen in CBP. I believe all had prior conviction, if not most. It's a shame somebody lost their life, but things like that happen everywhere in the country.

Scotty- That was great!

It actually started in the stadium. They were escorted out of the stadium allowed to go to Mcfaddens on CBP property. The security really dropped the ball on that one.

I grew up in Chicago, as a Cubs fan & currently reside in Wrigleyville. I'll just say this - it's events like this that caused me to give up on the bleachers some time ago. They're full of a-holes. Trust me, as a Cubs fan I take no joy in saying this. Even if they're free I won't take a bleacher seat, as it's no longer enjoyable. The last three times I sat there, it was nothing but trouble. I had bleacher seats last year & a fight broke out next to me before the first pitch was even thrown. Jerks like this give Cubs fans, some of the loyalist in all of sports - a horrible reputation.
