2002 Elite Turn of the Century Auto print runs

I'm confused about the print runs of the '02 Elite ToTC Autos. The Adam LaRoche card, according to Beckett and a recent eBay listing, has a p/r of 100. The card, however, states xxxx/1000. The Cliff Lee card also has the xxxx/1000 numbering, yet it has a p/r of 25. Is there a total of 1000 autos in the entire ToTC set, or was the "1000" a mistake?

Correct. For LaRoche, serial numbers 1-100 are "Turn of the Century" and are autographed. The remaining 900 are not "Turn of the Century" and are not auto'd.

Cliff Lee's first 25 "Turn of the Century" cards are auto'd, the remaining 75 "Turn of the Centurys" are not autographed. Then he has 900 plain ole' Elites to complete the 1000 PR.

And none (or maybe 1) of the Alex Rios were, since I pulled 0002/1000, and it was not signed.

For Rios, the first 100 of the 1000 were TOC diecut and none were signed.
