Brewers Sign Davis For $1.2 Million

The Brewers have signed Tennessee outfielder Kentrail Davis for $1.2 million. That’s the highest bonus in the supplemental first round so far this year.

Yay! That's probably a little less than I thought it would take, considering at the beginning of the season he was projected in the upper part of the mid-1st and he had the leverage of being a sophmore.

I am a big supporter or Davis, so I can;t wait to see what he can do in rookie ball and hopefully the AFL late this year.

Good news. A little shaky there first as I wasn't sure we'd get this one done. Hopefully he can fill in when we lose Cameron. We'll probably just have to plug someone in there next year as drafting a college CF says to me that the Brewers won't go after anyone significant this offseason (minus Cameron again for one year himself).

I know....that was a run on sentence.
