Last two starts 17/2 GB/FB ratio and his season GB/FB is nearly 1/1. He's adjusting and right now he is Roy Halladay like.

If he picks up the win tonight, I don't see how he's not the NL ROY front runner. That last pitch to Wright was nasty.

7 IP, 8K, 3 H, 3 BB. 0 R.

Lowered his season ERA to 2.65.

I think he overtook Happ for ROY with this start.

15 straight scoreless I think, might be more and should be more because Cox is an idiot for taking him out of his previous start.

He's still a flyball pitcher. The Mets just don't know how to hit fly balls.

Anyway, yeah Hanson has to be the ROY. He's been amazing from day one.

Hanson had a 11/1 GB/FB in his previous start.

Last 5 full starts(don't count the 2 Inning one in Philly) he has more GB's than FB's.

the term "fly ball pitcher" normally doesn't apply to power guys

his go/ao has always leaned to the AO side, but that doesn't necessarily mean that label fits

He still struggles with command, because everything he throws moves. He made Beltran look silly a couple times last night with his slider.

I was sitting right behind home plate, and man from that angle I don't understand how big league hitters hit guys like this.

In 1/2 of his starts his rookie year he has given up either 1 ER or shutout the opponent. Clearly rookie of the year.
