Pujols disappeared at the end of last year, and disappeared during the playoffs this year. Once again MVP
voters will doubt themselves.

As a Phillies fan, and a BIG Howard fan, please don't go there. Howard's had some pretty cold postseason series too. And BTW, so did Ted Williams, mostly due to lack of protection as well.

Do the playoffs matter? Because I believe Pujols has better numbers across the board in the playoffs, and in nearly 3x as many PA's.

Howard - .289/.382/.513

Here is Howards- 4hr 14rbi 11walks 26strikeouts .289Ba .382Opb .513Slug .895Ops in 20 Games

Howard has almost as many strikouts in 20 games as Pujols in 56

I think the only think Howard will be Grater than will be in strikeouts by the end of the next series.

I'll stick with Pujols and you can keep howard.

the PHILLIES are in the NLCS while the CARDINALS are watching... yet the STATS imply that PUJOLS > HOWARD.

I love all the Pujols fans, the guy shuts it down early and no one says anything. Howard is once again clutch
on his way to another ring and all you can talk about is Holliday. Cards didn't win cause Pujols choked. When it
has mattered, Howard has been MUCH MORE than Alberto.
