BIN's shouldn't be used as reliable indicators for much. Best Offer, maybe.

I threw in a $90 and $95 yesterday and today just in case it went cheep since his cards have been sort of down. Oh well.

There was an article on BP talking about how he just hit a homerun that traveled approximately 1.5 miles.

Maybe someone got excited about him?

BINs are good at sucking in the unknowledgeable, and it can make an awfully good hype tool.

Its pretty much the same with 1/1s in all auction formats.

also, if you guys didn't know when a BO ends it shows up as the full BIN... I recently bought a card for over $1k and it showed $1300.

Wow, didn't even see that article. I know he hit like a 500ft blast to left but didn't know there was an article on it. Cool.
