If you can get an Exquiste of your guy for under $30 and you think he is going to become huge, then that is the best investment
For a player who has some what of a following and cards sell decent already, I would invest in Chrome or SPX. You can get a real lot more and return on investment should be greater

I went with spx because it is more affordible in the long term even if your rookie gets hot. I would rather pay 200-300 dollars for a hot rookie card out of spx than 2000-3000 dollars out of that same rookie from exquisite. JMO
