Packers coach Mike McCarthy confirmed that OLB Aaron Kampman and CB Al Harris are both out for the season with knee injuries. Both defenders will be placed on injured reserve. It's a devastating blow to the Packers' defense, which was recently rounding into form but now loses two of its best players and leaders. Tramon Williams will step in for Harris, while late-round rookie Brad Jones is expected to play in Kampman's spot.

Hopefully this isn't the end to the Packers Playoffs hopes/chances.

Season isn't over guys, he is good for a couple more. Yeah he has only thrown 3 but these regular season interceptions aren't that much fun anyway. Just wait till those Playoff interceptions, those are the fun ones! ;)

Back to the Pack...Kampman and Harris will both be missed but people have been calling for Harris' head since the NFC Championship game in 2007. Williams is a suitable backup and GB showed they could D up without Kampman vs. Dallas. These injuries hurt Green Bay's depth in the nickel and dime packages though.

The Pack will most likely run into the Vikings again in the playoffs.
