the Oilers announced yesterday that right winger Ales Hemsky requires season ending surgery to repair a torn labrum in his left shoulder. Hemsky said he suffered the injury 6 weeks ago and the shoulder is still bothering him so he is forced to have the surgery which take 5-6 months to recover from. he had 7 goals and 15 assists in 22 games for the Oilers this season. this will be a huge loss for the already struggling Oilers.
