Wow he's 46 now! What if he pitches until he is 50. What if he gets 50 wins in the next 3 years for 300?

Is he a HOF? Or a "stat accumulator" (I hate that term).

Either way it is insane how long he is going.

50 wins in three years???

Only if he faces the Marlins 48 times...

It doesn't seem possible right? But if someone would've told me last year Jamie Moyer would lead the Phillies in wins in 2008 I would've used the    icon as well....

Don't worry I and everyone here still think you are a Phillies fan, my post is aimed at discussing his career ;)

I've been advised by the mods that creating more than one thread to discuss the same thing is bad.

This would be why benchmarks should not guarantee automatic HOF entry. There's really no reasonable argument for Moyer to make the HOF outside of the fact 300 wins has essentially guaranteed HOF entry so far.
