I don't remember when these first hit eBay, but weren't they going for close to $100 then also? I wasn't really watching them closely then. What made me look into it is, I have one ending today and it was at $40 up until this morning. It just jumped up to $102.50. Made me curious. Also notice, some of the ones numbered to 65 sold for less than the ones numbered to 199 just a few days apart. Weird.

Anyone else notice this?

Timing. People were conserving $$ for Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Now that those have passed, it is feasible to believe that there are more buyers in the market for cards. This time of the year is pretty brutal overall for selling cards, however.

Check out the winning bidders, I woudln't be surprised if the Highs are the same two guys for the early auctions.

With most players, there are about 3-5 gotta have it guys who'll pay anything. Unfortunately, there's only about 1 or 2 online for any given auction.

Once the gotta have it guys get their items, the price will drop to fair market value or the amount where even joe-blow will think it's a good buy.

That's why it's important to either sell it early to a gotta have it guy, or get something numbered under 5 or 10 where they start to wonder whether or not they'll see another one.

While I generally agree with you, the most recent one to sell is the 2ND HIGHEST of the whole bunch. So am not sure your point is relevant in this scenario.

Bingo. That's was the whole reason I brought this up. Mine is currently at $105.
