AS you may know, i am collecting the 1948 Bowman set autographed. While lookig for cards, i came accross an auction with 2 Blank Back cards.

These cards look hand cut to me.. i am wondering if these are "Proofs" or just printing scrap that someone got a hold of.

Your thoughts:

Probably some sort of blank-backed Salesman sample.

If that is the case, i wonder what the rarity and value would be?

yeah, i found that in my research also.. the only thing i am not sure about is it being hand cut. i would think that if these were just misprints, they would have the factory cut.

the card on the left is the one that looks hand cut to me.

i have the card in hand... any other thoughts on what they might be? i do not think they were pack issued because the appear to be hand cut. i was thinking of a production sheet that got out of the factory..

what are your thoughts?

how could you tell if these are proof cards or not?
