Isn't it the '88 Topps that has the Leiter error (I have both)?

Owned a littlefield but not the error.

was in parents' basement yeserday where all the card shop stuff is packed away

We have all of the Donruss/Fleer sets until 96 and Topps from 72-96
Also bunch of football sets too

I was tempted to bust open the factory sets to see if errors inside but didn't
Oh was it tempting

Correct. My bad. I actually have a handful of unopened rack packs with him on top. That was supposed to be my retirement :benson:

Littlefield books $100 sells for __________?
(fraction of that)

Also, if anyone else can think of any other cards that could fit this list, please feel free to add (I added a few 09 just to include those that have been collecting recently only)

Yeah, '88 Topps was junk.I remember sifting through all my commons boxes years ago and thought something was off with those Leiters.I have old Beckett's sitting around and every now and then I'll read them and error cards like those were the craze then.Remember those '87 Donruss Opening Day Bonds error cards? How many hundreds did those sell for in '01?

i bought two frank thomas nnof for $450. had them graded (8.0 and 8.5) and sold the 8.0 for $475 and the 8.5 for $800. :)

i have also owned several of the ripken ff cards. quite the novelty indeed, and NEVER had a problem moving the one's i had. however, i wouldn't waste busting sealed sets looking for one (if that is the set you were referring to in ripping). if i remember correctly, the variations were in rack packs and wax packs only. i may be wrong, but i believe all of the complete sets had only the black box.

I pulled a Littlefield error and still have it, I'll post a scan in second.

As to the OP, raw they sell for like 40 give or take, graded they can get well over 100
