I'm going to split this up into multiple posts within this thread and post as I get these uploaded.

I'll start with the small guys and work my way up to the the big guns as well as the new cornerstone.

This is quite simply the best McGwire mailday I've ever seen let alone had...

Start with some random little guys...

#'d/70 - This additions means I only need one more to complete the 25 card parallel set of these (M7)

w_1997--leaf--ss1.jpg

Some base 1998 teks. This addition means I now only need 5 to complete the 90 card subset!

5 more of the extremely rare HR refractors. This puts my "needs" down to 14 of the 70.

This was one of my favorites in the bunch. Why? Not only is it #'d/10, but it COMPLETES THE 2000 TEK GOLD #'d/10 SET!!!

Never thought I'd get all the scans of these, let alone own all of them...

Most people won't appreciate these, but these have proven difficult to collect as well.

1998 Tek Pre-production cards. 30 cards were produced for 3 different players (McGwire, Clemens, Mondesi). As if the other 9,000 patterns for each type weren't enough.

This puts the need count down to only 3!

Any day you receive a tek gold is a great mailday. These are all #'d/10.

This is from the 7a set, there are 30 parallels. With these additions, I only need 3. Another set I never thought I'd own half of.

Of course, gotta add some 7b's, these are also #'d/10, 30 patterns. This puts the need count down to 6 of those.

Unbelievable. I only need 9 tek gold cards and I've got all 80 from '99-'00!

3 more posts after this.

Very few people know about these, let alone have these.

These rarities are the only 1/1 tek cards that were ever produced. These are gold pre-production cards. I spent I don't know how many years searching for these and found 2.

Increased that today with 12 more of these 1/1's! How often do you get to add 12 1/1's in a single day????

Any 90's PC guy will crap their pants when they see this:

I've been collecting these since they came out in '98. I've landed 10 in 12 years of collecting.

Yes, those are all unique diffractors. Now I've got 39 diffractors. Unreal!

And finally, the biggest addition to my collection.

I didn't know this thing existed. Let alone with a big refractor line...

No matter since this is the only one that exists. Crusade lovers will crap their pants on this one!

1998 Crusades RED PROTOTYPE!!!

Where did you find this HUGE Stash?
Another Mac Collector liquidating I'm assuming?

Yup! A guy sold these to Steve's Sportscards (who I've been working with) who in turn sold some to shrev (who I got a few from as well). I'm stoked about this group!

Unreal.

Do they have a specific affix/prefix, or are they all Diffractors/Dif-Fractors?

The base and diffractors are the exact same with the exception of the triangle refractor patterns all over the card. Nothing else is different. They all have the numbering

13 pattern XX

The pre-productions and gold pre-productions are the same as each other except the gold has a gold bordering. The numbering with those guys does not include a "13 pattern". They use the pattern number as the number (XX) then have pre-production written across the back of the number.

Holy crap! I thought the first post was great! Thanks for sharing all that, especially the crusade. Looks like you were beat to a lot of this stuff before.

Amazing just amazing. I didn't know the 2000 colors also have a gold version, cool to see them. All those diffractors are awesome to see all at once, I don't have any. And of course the red prototype is absolutely awesome!!! Congrats on the amazing pick ups.
