This is a baseball release, correct? If so, stick to baseball players. I'm growing tired of the trend of checklists and hits being diluted with non-baseball autographs.

My guess....less than 5% or maybe even less than 1% of people know these names:

General Frank Parker
General Walter Reed
General Wallace DeWitt
General Edward Montgomery
General Charles Danforth
General Albert Myer
General George Read
Admiral Harold Smith
General Carl Reichmann

All those Generals, and they leave out Billy Mitchell, the father of the Air Force, ugh, FAIL Topps ::facepalm::

Just kidding. That's a mighty strong check-list.

Is it bad that I'd be more interested in the FB cuts from this release than the baseball and "other"?

*EDIT

I like the Sinatra, but you could just buy a nice one for half the price of a case of Sterling

http://cgi.ebay.com/Frank-Sinatra-Signe ... 19b5c376b0

I managed to pick this one up for $600

Also, the Paige is pretty sweet, but I got this bad boy for less than 1 box of Sterling

I've never really bought too much into the cut auto market because you can usually buy the uncut, authenticated item for less than a case or in many many cases, a box of high end product. Some of the more "common" cuts on that list could be purchased for $10.

The only thing impressive about this checklist is the breadth.

Otherwise, it's no different than a Razor cut auto checklist.

I'm not too impressed. This is supposed to be a high end baseball product. I would have loved to see something more similar to their 2004 topps tribute HOF signature edition checklist.

There are some serious $5 index cards in that list...like 50 of them.

I'm glad I don't care too much about brand in my collection.

I doubt we'll see a checklist like that again, unfortunately.
