Cool looking Harper. No mention of serial numbering, though. It's supposed to be #d to 162, I believe.

Question for you guys...

I understand wanting a players first USA card, to a point.

What is the reasoning for wanting a players 2nd year USA card?

Just curious

my guess is it is still pre-rookie, so anything before that is still good. I really have no clue just talking out my ____.

If you're referring to Harper, bear in mind:

1) Last year's set was extremely expensive and shortprinted. And almost dried up, at present.
2) There were 55 of his autographed cards in the entire product. Just 55. Period. I'm guessing some people have been waiting for a less expensive autographed card of him.

JP,

I did mean Harper, but others also. I thought I knew the answer to Harper, but don't get it for other players I guess.

The lowest #d stuff might approach last year's levels.

Second year Alvarez does well for past sets, Hunter Morris as well.

I tend to agree with AIC. Anything pre big league release is on the same playing field. Alvarez is the first guy who comes to mind. His 06 USA cards were actually inferior to his 08 USA cards.
