Anyone else see the spike in prices of 2010 Topps? Anyone know a reason behind this?

I mean...who am I to say you can't collect what and how you want but lets be realistic...your chances of pulling a redemption card that net you something worthwhile are so slim on this. I just can't see legitmate collectors or even casual ones thinking this is a good idea to try to do. What would be any different from this than me going out and busting every hobby box I could to find one or maybe a few particular cards that were real hard to come by? By the time you found your card, if you even could find it, you are into it for several Large. What the hell good is that?
Sorry if I sound rude or like and a-hole. This just doesn't make any sense to me.

Go buy one of those Tri-Star, Ruth chase re-pack boxes. You can pull all the 85-92 topps you can handle. :lol:uniquebaseballcards said:I understand what you're saying, but the redemption program is like being able to pull a random piece of nostalgia from a pack - the preferred way the older generations preferred to get their cards!
