One more today. This time I'm going to keep the information less specific, so that hopefully it'll take a while before someone comes up with the right answer.
This prospect debuted in the BA Prospect Handbook at # 4 on his team's Top 30 list four years ago. Highlights from his scouting report included the following:
- His team believed he matched up with any high-schooler taken in the 2005 draft.
- His hitting approach is well beyond his years.
- His bat and power are both plus tools, and is a good athlete with solid speed and arm strength.
- He was signed as a centerfielder, but projects as a right fielder and his bat will need to carry him if he is to become a star at that position.
Go for it.
