Anyone have any suggestions for good TTM signers during Spring Training?

Mind breaking down what you send to him every year that gets him to sign for you and pretty much nobody else. What I mean is this:
Content of letter- usually just a full page since he's one of my fav mlb players
Type of card sent- just basic non glossy cards
How many sent- 1 each time
When they were sent- early ST so the letter would be there before the players arrived
This info can help establish a pattern that will help others have successes.
