With Tex in NY, where will Jesus Montero play in the future?

Not sure if anyone has discussed this yet, but Montero was projected to eventually play 1B in the pros one day and Romine play behind the plate. Does this mean he could get shifted to DH? Tex has a great bat and glove so they would want to keep him at 1B, especially after spending all the money they just did.

Or does Montero become good tradebait in the future?

I'm curious how this will play out for Montero.

Too early to worry about it. If he continues to hit, then he'll find a spot somewhere in the lineup in a few years.

It doesn't worries me a bit prospect wise since his chrome auto sells around 20, you can't lose even the Yankees traded him. But he probably won't find a spot in a few years in the Yankees lineup with the way they spend they green bill..

I watched him play this past year and he catches a pretty good game. I can tell you this, it would take a very large man to roll him over at the plate.
