PHOENIX -- Hall of Fame broadcaster Vin Scully was hospitalized Thursday night in Los Angeles after falling at his home.
The 82-year-old Scully, entering his 61st season broadcasting the Dodgers, told club vice president of communications Josh Rawitch that he got up from bed too quickly, fell and bumped his head.
Rawitch said Scully would remain hospitalized overnight at West Hills Hospital and Medical Centerfor for observation but is expected to be at Camelback Ranch-Glendale this weekend to broadcast the Dodgers' exhibition game Sunday.
