He got punched in the eye and said he was poked. Yeah, poked in the eye clearly with a fist.

I feel bad for Sakara because it ended so awkwardly.

Not a good start for the UFC on Versus.

Not sure why he's a "punk" - a knuckle in the eye or a finger in the eye...it's going to feel the same.

He could have honestly believed that it was a finger, and I have no reason to doubt it. Obviously he didn't receive the punch in super-slow-mo 6 times to know for certain.

how about you take a knuckle to the eye from sakara and try to figure out whether it was a thumb or not...

I was caught up in the moment I guess.

Man, I've never seen someone tap due to thigh strikes.

Kongo put on a clinic. But Buentello showed heart in taking the beatdown, espacially after continue after getting kneed in the head while downed. Was great seeing him pop his dislocated finger back in and continuing too.

But Kongo beat him like he owned him.

And Gonzaga got KTFO again. Dos Santos is sick. He's probably the quickest HW out there.

I really enjoyed that Gonzaga/JDS fight.

I didn't have a fighter I wanted to win, but it was entertaining.

Thank God Herb Dean was the ref in the Kongo fight and noticed Buentello intentionally taking the knee when Kongo kneed him the second time. Maz would have called the fight and gave it to Buentello.
