OK I want stats. No feelings, no i hear he's in great shape.

Show me 35 at bats that i can extrapolate out to 550 and make massive investments based on.

Lets go!

Sweet Swinging lefty, never caught on with original team, moves to Fenway and explodes.

(ok, he hasn't played in Fenway yet, BUT)

JEREMY HERMIDA 2-2 today to raise his avg to .406/.457/.563

RICKY NOLASCO has a 16/0 K/ BB ratio!!!

He's leading all of MLB in K's and obviously is also leading in K/BB ratio :)
(edit, he was leading but matusz passed him with 18(wow) and Ramon Ortiz(really?))

SEAN RODRIGUEZ leading all MLB with 39 Total Bases

MATT TUIASOSOPO the man who taught us all what AWESOMENESS looks like.

hitting .394/.444/.636

KILA KAIHUIE

.344/.447/.656

It's a really small sample size, but Daniel Descalso of the Cardinals has had 7 hits through 15 ABs with 6RBI and no K. I've always believed in him.

OK, i've got a good one.

Brad Eldred (remember him Pittsburgh fans?)

is 4-6 with 3 HR.

that's good for a 2.881 SLG % :)

How about Fernando Martinez?

AVG - .447 OBP - .425 SLG - .868 OPS - 1.293

And yet AGAIN this year, I'm one of those saying that this could be the year that Hermida could finally break out. But then again, how many years have some of us been saying that? :)

I was on the Hermida train a few years ago. This is going to be the year. Well maybe next year. etc. I just don't know about him anymore.

Andruw Jones is having a solid spring through 29 at bats:

.345 avg
2 HR
8 RBI
3 SB (showing off his speed for the new team) ;)

Sadly, his main competition for DH time is Kotsay and he is batting .433 this spring. The good news is Andruw has been playing OF. If he has lost enough weight to be an OF again, it will really increase his chances of more playing time this year. What he does with the playing time is anyones guess. Hopefully he can get his career back on track.
