Giants up 3-1. Another solid outing by a SP. Giants SP has not given up an earned run all year. Also HR by Bowker. So far so good for Giants fans.

I've read that in an effort to keep Helton fresh all year long they are only going to play him 130-140 games this year. I wouldnt be surprised if he doesn't play more than 2 or 3 games in a row without a day off, especially this early in the year.

5. Don't look too much into 2 games (well 3 now) on Pence. It is that fanciful Age 27 Year, so I am sure we will see an uptick in his numbers (once he bats with men on base and has a little more protection than just Carlos Lee).

I was not a fan of Tracy pulling various starters, from today's game. Needless to say: We'll be going home to the Padres. Jorge'll be starting, and the rest-day should get us right on track!
