How cool would this be?

Topps gets 1 jersey from every single player that played on a team in 2010:
* The date of the game, results, and player's stats are recorded on the back

- Logoman Patch 1/1
- Jumbo Logo Patches
- Jumbo Swatch Button cards
- Jumbo Swatch Button Whole Cards
- Jumbo Swatch Laundry Tags and other tags
- All remaining plain uniform swatches are autographed (ala Ultimate Collection)

Huge Base Set w/ Parallels:

- reg
- Gold /2010
- Black /50
- Blue 1/1
- Chrome /500
- Chrome Ref /150
- Chrome Blue Refractor /99
- Chrome Black Refractor /75
- Chrome Gold Refractor /50
- Chrome Red Refractor /25
- Chrome Superfractor 1/1

It'd be awesome. I'd love to get some JJ stuff outta something. I hate to keep buying Topps '10 Autos as the "new" JJ product.

I'd enjoy this product, if Topps were wise enough to use it in their '10 MLB product lineup.

Every player would sign their jersey swatches. And that would take what, maybe 5 years to produce. Oh, and it would cost $200 per pack.

For what Topps pays for the jerseys they should take a page out of Just Minor's book and for $300 get a full GU jersey of someone.

I proposed something like this to UD after a meeting up at the Toronto Expo a few years ago, for their SP Game Used Hockey product...

Take one week early in the season, and designate one jersey and two pieces of equipment (for baseball; hat, glove, bat, etc.) that each player will use. Put a special Topps patch on it. Make it known to people watching that these exact pieces of memorabilia will be made into cards. Get the product into cards as quick as possible, and have it on shelves for the start of the playoffs.

Just a thought. DINABBS, if you're reading, you can have that idea for the low cost of 2 cases of the finished product.
