I have no idea what's going on here - why so high??

I have no idea why this Matzek Sterling Auto has gone so high. Can't be "snipes gone bad" so what is going on? Three people have each bid $30 or more when there's a BIN available for $19 and another for $20.

People bidding on auctions aren't logical. They would rather get the enjoyment of winning an auction even if it costs them, or they are ebay novices and don't understand it completely

It wasn't snipes either, it was at $31 with over 3 hours left....

Yep, that's what I was saying with it isn't a case of "snipes gone bad". And two of the people who bid $30 or more had 198 and 632 for their FB so it wasn't like this was their first time using Ebay.
