Sweet pickup for my Don Zimmer collection... a 1952 Victoria Cuban Winter League card. Zim played two seasons in Cuba before making the big leagues. This card was issued 3 years before his 1955 rookies. 1952 Victorias are printed on thin paper stock, and like many Cuban issues, were meant to be pasted into albums. When you consider that many have severe damage from being in albums, the flimsy stock, the humidity in Cuba, and other factors, it's surprising these survive.
Purchased it from CubanCollectibles.com, who were great and I had the card in 3 days from Cuba.
