I'm close friends with many fighters, both famous and lower tier. Trust me, fighters take dives all the time. If you could make 10K for a fight to win or 50K to lose, what would you do? For most guys struggling to put food on the table, its too tempting to pass up. I'm saying its right, but its been going on in boxing for many, many years. MMA is no different.

For example, go watch Minowa vs Funaki. I know for a FACT that Minowa was paid to lose. I wont go into details for obvious reasons.
